Morningstar Sustainalytics has launched a new Global ESG Universe to help investors better align with market requirements and support diversified investment strategies. With this expansion, Sustainalytics’ ESG Risk Ratings now spans more than 16,300 companies worldwide and builds upon our leadership in coverage of analyst-based ESG Risk Ratings.

The new Global ESG Universe prioritizes fixed income issuers, listed Chinese companies that issue A and/or B shares, and private companies. The extensive coverage in these asset classes provides investors flexibility to align with a wide variety of use cases and diversified investment opportunities.
